This line of research proposes the promotion of academic debate, under interdisciplinary perspectives, regarding the interrelationships between Law, technology and technological innovations, identifying problems in this connection and, when possible, suggesting ways and resolutions.

2) Law Updates

This line of research aims at the promotion of academic debate, under interdisciplinary perspectives, regarding diverse situations in the national and international legal scenario, such as contemporary theoretical and practical discussions and recent doctrinal and jurisprudential positions.

Peer review process

Submissions are subject to two selection phases:

Admission of papers - at this stage it is verified the adequacy of the manuscript regarding the scientific character, the general presentation and the adequacy to the norms and editorial policy of the journal.

Peer review - the manuscript will be evaluated by at least two members of the journal’s Scientific Committee or ad hoc consultants, in line with the topic addressed. With the double-blind peer review system (double blind peer review), the names of the reviewers and authors remain confidential.

Since 2023 the Revista de Direito Contemporâneo UNIDEP uses CopySpider, similarity identification software, as an auxiliary strategy to verify and ensure the originality of published works. Thus, from that date, all works approved for the RDC-U pass through the verification in the software, whose results are analyzed individually.
