Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is 1,5pt spaced; uses a 12-point Arial Font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

AUTHORSHIP AND ORIGINALITY STATEMENT AND COPYRIGHT TRANSFER TERM
The authors who publish in the Journal of Contemporary Law UNIDEP (RDC-U) agree with the following terms:
- The Authors authorises the publication of the text in RDC-U, if approved, declaring that he owns the copyright and patrimonial rights on the work, not having previously assigned them to third parties.
- The Author ensures that the contribution is original, unpublished and that it is not in the process of evaluation in another journal.
- The journal is not responsible for the opinions, ideas and concepts expressed in the articles, as they are the sole responsibility of its Author.
- No copyright or other remuneration shall be due for the publication of the works.
- The Authors retain the copyright and grant RDC-U the right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonComercial 4.0 International License, which allows the sharing of the work with recognition of authorship and initial publication in this journal. Also, because they appear in this journal of public access, the articles are free use, with their own attributions, with educational and non-commercial applications.
- This license allows others to remix, adapt and create from their work for non-commercial purposes, and although new works have to assign due credit to it and cannot be used for commercial purposes, users do not have to license these derivative works under the same terms.
- Authors are authorized to assume additional contracts separately, for non-exclusive distribution of the version of the work published in this journal (e.g., publishing in an institutional repository or as a book chapter), with recognition of authorship and initial publication in this journal.
- Authors have permission and are encouraged to publish and distribute their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their personal page) at any point before or during the editorial process, since this can generate productive changes, as well as increasing the impact and citation of the published work.
- When the work is co-authored, the Author who submits it signs the present instrument on his behalf and that of the co-authors, of whom he declares to have authorization to do so, under his responsibility.
- The Author declares that for the publication in this submitted act there is no Copyright of third parties being violated under applicable law.
- The Author declares himself aware of the sole and exclusive responsibility of his person, for all purposes of law before the applicable laws, including the veracity of what he declared.
