THE IMPACT OF SOCIAL NETWORKS IN THE PROCESS OF DIVORCE AND FAMILY CUSTODY
Abstract
In the field of Family, new technologies have generated challenges regarding complex legal issues, therefore, it is necessary to analyze how Family Law relates to technologies and how they influence family relationships. This research aims to analyze the impacts of social networks on the divorce and family custody process. To this end, theoretical references, legislation, bibliographic and documentary research will be used, also using web resources and case studies. Emphasis will be placed on Family Law, always based on the dignity of the members and the principles of affection. We will seek to expose the impacts and influences that social networks have brought on these relationships, as well as bringing legal and regulatory solutions to deal with this issue, regarding the regulation of the uses of personal information made available on social networks in legal proceedings and what the role of the courts in interpreting laws in this context.
