Objective: To stimulate motor coordination, logical reasoning, memory, and socialization among older adults residing in a Long-Term Care Facility for the Elderly (LTCF) through musical bingo. Methods: Experience report developed by third-semester medical students, who conducted a diagnostic visit to assess the profile of residents at an LTCF located in Jaboatão dos Guararapes, Pernambuco, Brazil. The institution houses older adults of both biological sexes, aged between 60 and 85 years. Results: The activity was carried out through interactive health education dynamics, using a bingo game adapted with excerpts from popular Brazilian songs, according to the participants’ cultural repertoire. The intervention generated high levels of engagement, enthusiasm, and active participation, with intense interaction among the elderly. There was strengthening of social bonds, recovery of affective memories, and spontaneous sharing of life experiences related to the songs. Improvements were observed in attention, auditory memory, and fine motor coordination, in addition to positive impacts on mood, communication, and self-esteem, with participants expressing a desire for similar activities. Conclusion: Musical bingo proved to be an effective, low-cost, and easily applicable strategy, promoting active aging and quality of life, with potential for replication in other institutions.
