THE MECHANISMS OF THE GENERAL DATA PROTECTION LAW AND ITS CONCEPTS APPLIED IN BRAZIL
Abstract
The paper presents the main concepts of the LGPD and its historical context, presenting its applicability in Brazil. There is also a comparison presenting an analysis in its applicability and in the European continent. The paper concludes that the aforementioned normative diploma initiated a new culture of privacy and data protection in the country. In order to obtain results and conclusions, an integrated, analytical, deductive research methodology and a bibliographical research technique are used.
